Very floral/herbal aroma with strong bitter citrus notes. Some vegetal celery flavors rightup front. Goes into a dry spicy bitterness. Some sweetness. Not bad, but not a great APA. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 12, 2007 light, hazy honey in color with a short-lived head but nice lace throughout. not much aroma, but what I detected there was some grass and a hint of lemon. a nice dry bitterness lingers but ( and I never could have imagined saying this a year or two ago ) it needs more hops. 12 oz. bottle from Saarlander, thanks. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 6, 2007 Bottle thanks to cbkschubert: Pours a clear birght golden with a nicely-lacing frothy white head. Subtle grapefruity hoppy aroma has a touch of sweet pale malt. Body starts with a light malty sweetness nicely balanced with citrusy bittering hops toward a crisp, bittersweet finish. Could use some more aroma hops, but otherwise a good APA. jcr (1190), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 5, 2007 Bottle. The hops are the dominant feature of this APA, as they should be. Pleasant aroma of citrus, specifically grapefruit and orange. Notes of resin and pine. Light gold pour with white head the sticks around. Flavor is mostly bitter with a slight sweet backbone. Moderate carbonation. Watery texture so much so it reminds me of grapefruit juice. Bitter finish. Saarlander (1583), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 13, 2007 Nice Gold pour with decent head. Pretty well balanced, not sticky at all, but malty enough. Plenty of hops, but not overpowering, slightly grassy. Would be even better on a summer day, Good overall! jason (1626), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

Pretty good pale ale. Thanks craig. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 28, 2007 Pale yellow pour with a big white fluffy head. Aroma is light and sweet. The taste is more like a pilsener than american pale ale. Nice body. Fully flavor. Sweet pale malt and a dry english hop bite. realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 19, 2006 12oz bottle poured a clear yellow/gold color with a small white head. The aroma was citrus and spice with a touch of sweet malt. The taste had an assertive hoppiness, but nice and drinkable. Hard to pick out the malt with all the hop flavor. Overall an average pale for style.
