Commercial Description:
An American style pale ale, this brew is hopped four times using plentiful quantities of Cascade and Columbus hops. The flavor is balanced by a subtle maltiness obtained from five varieties of malted barley and a slight fruitiness, to produce a classic beer in the style of the Pacific Northwest. A clean crisp ale with distinctive hop aroma.

Bottle from BevMo, La Mesa. Pours a dark golden color. Very floral/herbal aroma with strong bitter citrus notes. Some vegetal celery flavors rightup front. Goes into a dry spicy bitterness. Some sweetness. Not bad, but not a great APA.

light, hazy honey in color with a short-lived head but nice lace throughout. not much aroma, but what I detected there was some grass and a hint of lemon. a nice dry bitterness lingers but ( and I never could have imagined saying this a year or two ago ) it needs more hops. 12 oz. bottle from Saarlander, thanks.

Bottle thanks to cbkschubert: Pours a clear birght golden with a nicely-lacing frothy white head. Subtle grapefruity hoppy aroma has a touch of sweet pale malt. Body starts with a light malty sweetness nicely balanced with citrusy bittering hops toward a crisp, bittersweet finish. Could use some more aroma hops, but otherwise a good APA.

Bottle. The hops are the dominant feature of this APA, as they should be. Pleasant aroma of citrus, specifically grapefruit and orange. Notes of resin and pine. Light gold pour with white head the sticks around. Flavor is mostly bitter with a slight sweet backbone. Moderate carbonation. Watery texture so much so it reminds me of grapefruit juice. Bitter finish.

Nice Gold pour with decent head. Pretty well balanced, not sticky at all, but malty enough. Plenty of hops, but not overpowering, slightly grassy. Would be even better on a summer day, Good overall!

Bottle via trade with cbkschubert. Poured a golden body with good size foamy head that stayed throughout most of the drinking. Aroma is of hops and citrus with a slight bitter feel to it. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Pretty good pale ale. Thanks craig.

Pale yellow pour with a big white fluffy head. Aroma is light and sweet. The taste is more like a pilsener than american pale ale. Nice body. Fully flavor. Sweet pale malt and a dry english hop bite.

12oz bottle poured a clear yellow/gold color with a small white head. The aroma was citrus and spice with a touch of sweet malt. The taste had an assertive hoppiness, but nice and drinkable. Hard to pick out the malt with all the hop flavor. Overall an average pale for style.
