| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2006 My bottle just says Pale Ale, no Palo Verde. Taste begins pretty normally, but the some dry hops kick in late. A pale yellow color. Not too hoppy or biting, but drinkable. Some nutty characters at the end that take it down some. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

Pours an almost clear golden color with a large white head. Nose is mostly grapefruit hoppiness and a bit of caramel. Taste is pretty one dimensional, some grassy and grapefruit hops on top of a subdued malt background. Grainy aftertaste. Moderate carbonation. Light body, semi-watery mouthfeel. About average for the syle. Sammy (4065), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Tall, offwhite head, rocky, fairly lasting with some nice lace. Hazy blond color. Floral nose, light popcorn notes. Body is light/medium. Light malts are grainy, lightly bready, light grassy hop flavors with a touch of tea bag and faint citrus. Finish is fairly dry, somewhat astringent. Thanks Craig! Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA

Smells malty with some yogurt present and tea like hops. Tastes peppery with some malty undertones. Grassy notes develop and the beer warms. Finishes tingly with a peppery finish. aracauna (2425), Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 12, 2006 Pours a hazy gold with suspended sediment. The head is large, creamy, and long lasting. The aroma has a touch of pineapple and pith from the hops. The flavor is light, moderately hoppy and fairly refreshing, although I get creosote burps from the hops. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 15, 2006 Yellow gold, light head and lacing. Nose of light vegetal hops, pine, wood; all of these beers are tasting the same to me. The flavor is earthy, herbal with light bitterness, dry, lots of that piney bitterness. Finishes dry, eh. About the same as the others, just different components.
