Bomber from Liquid Solutions. Deep malty aroma with hints of hop. Dark, really garnet color with a frothy beige head. Medium body with mild, creamy carbonation. Flavor is roasted malt (typical red) and pine and grapefruit. Light stone fruit esters parade around the middle, and the finish is well balanced. Very tasty.

Picked up a 22-oz bomber from Liquidsolutions.biz in Oregon. Pours a clear light brownish amber brew with a thinoff-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of light spice, citrusy zest hops, a touch of roasted Bavarian malt and caramel. Taste is slightly hoppy, medium bodied with some carbonation with flavors of roasted caramel malt and plenty of herbs and citrus zest hops. Finish is more hop than malt aftertaste that is quite enjoyable.

Poured a clear ruby color with a hint of brown and small beige head. Toasted malt, chocolate, light fruit and grain. Some citrus hops. The flavor is very light and thin on the body. Long citrus and bitterness (moderately bitter) with a mild sweet malt flavor mixed in but dries out quite a bit. Some graininess. Hmm I just looked over the ratings. I wonder if the bottles are spotty.

Tasted on tap at the 7th Annual Bistro Double IPA fest. This IPA pours a dark orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is mild, malty and sweet. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are piney and citrusy. Not a lot of hop bitterness. Somewhere between an IPA and a Barley wine. Nice balance. Perhaps a touch thin in body at the finish. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tasted at the Oregon Brewers Festival as the "Believer" a "Double Red Ale". On the brewers MySpace website he lists it as the Believer Double Red. This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a very large sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated brown colored body. The nice aroma was brown malt and sweet. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The thin flat flavor contained notes of mild hops and brown malt. Not one that I would likely buy again.

Thanks to Skyview for sharing. Dark red color with no head. Hoppy aroma, focusing on orange. They dry grain from the "red ale" of this beer comes through a lot. A bitter and dried orange finish.

Bomber poured a clear dark reddish amber with a lingering ring of ambere foam. Aromas of carmel, cocoa, citrus and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, cocoa, nuts, earthiness and light fruittiness with a smooth dry lingering malty finish.

A nice malty red for a change, but I’d still like a bit more fruittiness.

Draft at Oregon Brewers Festival, Portland, OR. Tan head that fully diminished and a brown hue. Nose was hoppy, woodyness, grapefruit, citrus, and malty. Flavor was hoppy, citrus and malty. Fairly smooth mouthfeel and medium body. Good brew and worthy of a try.
