Bottle. Aroma of sweet, earthy malt, lots of red fruits/berries blending with lots of toffee. Flavor keeps some of those fruits but focuses more on the earthy malt/toffee feel. Almost a bit too earthy/grainy on the tongue for me, just not entirely my thing, but a very good beer.

draft @ uber - clear and dark amber with slight off-white head; light flavors or caramel and malt; rich flavors and texture; drinks smooth with a nice hop kick; very nice

PIB... Foggy, dull burgundy in the glass. Aroma of figs and malt and the beer tickles on the tongue with flavors of malt, caramel, a floral combination of fruit and sweets, and ends with a wonderful hop finish.

Dark sugary caramel aroma and color, gummy white head. Great weighted raw grain character, earthy dense hops, but too much caramel malt and it finishes sweet and balanced

Smells like a barley wine. Deep red malt aroma. Tastes like that cross b/w barley and double IPA. Very sweet, caramel....but a bit of a musty taste lingers in there as well. Nice.

Draft at the College Inn in Seattle.

Pours a nice deep hazy red-brown with a small head. Good fruity aroma, Earthy hops with apple and apricot, balancing nicel with the strong malt body (not too sugary, little of that Lagunitas burnt caramel stuff going on).

Pretty durn solid.

Tap at Uber. Dark cherry reddish brown with big head. Big hop aroma with lots of roasted malt. More sweet malt than hops in the taste. Creamy. Really enjoyed this.
