Jul 26, 2008 Draft - I was told it was 7.2% ABV at the brewery. A pitch black beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with an acidic note from the roasted malt - since the flavor is very roasted, but also has notes of oatmeal and chocolate.

Feb 13, 2008 Draft @ KLCC Microbrew Festival: Pours a deep, dark brown with a moderate tan head. Had nice lacing. Aroma is sweet cocoa and roasty malt. Tastes roasty and of milk chocolate, some more burnt malt. Flavor flattens out a bit with some chalkiness in the end. Decent, but not great.

Jan 14, 2008 draft @ horse brass pub - cask conditioned; jet black with slight tan head; swete chocolate aromas mix with slight oats and roasted hints; drinks mildly creamy and just silky smooth; a great stout and look forward to more ninkasi brews down the road

does not count  Dec 3, 2007 This beer pours black with a creamy tan head. Has a roasted, chocolate aroma. Finishes amazingly smooth for how dark this beer is. One of my favorite stouts!
