Sep 27, 2009 Not much aroma. Great red-orange color. Head is very intriguing. Hops, grains and fruit. Flavor is also fruity, then hoppy, then grainy. Good stuff.

Sep 25, 2009 Bottle (in NZ), pouring a light amber with a filmy off-white head. Toffee malt at first on the nose, and then some floral piney hops. Toffee malt again on the palate, though a bit grainy. But then very bitter, belying its 40 IBUs. Lacks a bit of balance for me.

Sep 3, 2009 Clear amber with a light tan head. Mild floral hop aromas with grainy malts. Smooth medium body. Floral hop flavors with spicy caramel and sweet honey. Crisp, nicely bitter finish. Nice summer ale.

Aug 17, 2009 Bomber. Orange pour with some initial chill haze, lacy off-white head. Citrus, cookie dough and flowers aroma. Medium body and light carbonation. Peachy bread and toffee taste with an earthy bitter finish with just a bit of lingering soap.

Aug 5, 2009 Pours a semi-hazy orange-like color with a teeny, tiny head. Smells kind of weird, sort of sweet and sour. Tastes lovingly hopped as all the Ninkasi beers seem to but only the bitterness is detectable. Slight toffee/caramel peaks through the astringency, but at the end, all I’m left with is an oil slick bitterness.
