Aug 28, 2009 22oz bottle. Opaque orange pour with a medium white head. Sweet malt aroma with some orangy and piney hops. A bit of honey sweetness up front with lots of orange hop character before a balanced bittersweet finish. Very good.

Aug 23, 2009 Bottle, acquired in Seattle. Fairly bright orange pour with good amount of white head. Aroma is floral and earthy hops, but not very pungent; pale belgian malt. Flavor is the same, lightly sweet with herbal hops.

Aug 18, 2009 Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a nice, but short lived, off-white head. Left some lacing on the glass. Grapefruit aroma with nice bitter hops in the flavor. Nice west coast ipa.

Aug 13, 2009 Draft sample at IBGF Summer 2009.
Poured dark golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate floral and citrus hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where met and good addition to fest.

Aug 8, 2009 Draft. Pours medium amber with an off-white mildly green-tinted head, decent lacing. Ginger/citrus hops, bright and orangey, a bit of floral/perfume, yeast. Nice broad palate, plenty of citrus and pine, well-balanced.

Jul 26, 2009 Bomber shared at PPRBSG. Pours a light gold- hazy with a nice tight white head. Aroma is crackery malt a tad old- some papery oxidation with green and herbal hops, slight spice, dough and apple skin. Flavor is also oxidized and the malt is turning slight astringent- dried crackers, cobwebby- grassy and light citrus orange hops with slight aging cheese and stale mint leaves. Meh.

Jul 24, 2009 Pours gold and hazy with a white head. Smells of citrus, perfumy, grassy, some wildflowers. Tastes of pepper, earthy, caramel, resiny. BItter finish.
