A good all-around IPA, and possibly the best pairing I could possibly imagine with pizza. Faint notes in the aroma reminded me of red sauce and pepperoni. Most of the smell, though, is powerful citrus hops, with only a light backing of light, sweet malts. It poured a light honey-amber with a good thick head, and had a very smooth mouthfeel, and while the flavor was intriguing (powerful citrus hops abound), it was overwhelmed by a resiny quality that really started to become annoying by the end of the glass - the kind that sticks at the back of your throat.

Oct 5, 2008 22oz bottle. Pours hazy orange/amber with a moderate white head, some lace. Smells nutty hoppy. Tastes slightly nutty and hoppy sweet, earthy. Lingering big hop bitterness. Medium body, good carbonation.

Oct 2, 2008 Special Girlfriend Import. A little hazed. Very enjoyable session kind of thing with lingering bitterness and clear but not to dominat hops aroma and flavor. Very nice ipa.

Sep 22, 2008 Smooth, refreshing and floral. Everything a good IPA should be. No tricks up its sleeve, but a solid floral IPA. Pours a clear copper with some head - pretty frothy for an IPA. The palate on this guy is good - full of grassy, slightly piney and some grapefruit in there too.

Sep 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Fruity malty spicey grapefruit hoppy aroma. FRuity malty hoppy orange/grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy grapefruit finish.

Sep 18, 2008 Updated: Sep 19, 2008Glimmering bronze with nice hop-pocked head. Lovely floral bouquet of hops with hints of fruit and interesting spiciness. Body is rather disappointing for an IPA. Spicy hops, some dankness and easy malt. Rather flat. Unimpressive.
