I’m very disappointed in this beer coming from Oregon. Lots of bitterness but seriously lacking in hop flavor and aroma. blutt59 (501), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 12, 2008 bottle, malty oatmeal cookie nose, burnt orange color with a small soapy head, flavors run to malts, grapefruit and bread, very nice on the finish without an astringent bitterness some have ABUSEDGOAT (1863), California, USA Jul 8, 2008 Amber colored. Aroma is typical grapefruit, citrus, pine, etc. Medium to full body, moderate to high bitterness. Quite drinkable, alcohol hidden well. Cookie cutter but done well. Headbanger (921), Aurora, Illinois, USA Jul 7, 2008 22oz bottle-Pours a orangish body with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, and a little malt. Taste of the same with a little bitterness on the back end. Very well balanced without the hops being overbearing. Nice Double.
