Jul 17, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, orange body encircled with a ring of white bubbles.
Smell: Aroma of citrus and apricots with no more than a light touch of malts.
Taste: Slightly bready maltiness with a bit of caramel sweetness. Taste of grapefruit rinds and apricots. Punchy, medium-high hop bitterness. Touch of alcohol on the drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A passable Double IPA.

Jul 17, 2008 Bomber poured a clear amber with a lasting light amber head. Aromas of carmel, eathiness, grapefruit, light orange and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of carmel, light grapefruit zest, light orange and light pine with a smooth lingering bitter finish.
I’m very disappointed in this beer coming from Oregon. Lots of bitterness but seriously lacking in hop flavor and aroma.

Jul 8, 2008 Amber colored. Aroma is typical grapefruit, citrus, pine, etc. Medium to full body, moderate to high bitterness. Quite drinkable, alcohol hidden well. Cookie cutter but done well.

Jul 7, 2008 22oz bottle-Pours a orangish body with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, and a little malt. Taste of the same with a little bitterness on the back end. Very well balanced without the hops being overbearing. Nice Double.

Jul 2, 2008 22oz bottle. Hazy apricot/orange color with small head. Aroam of light malt and bitter hops. The taste was of light maly, tea, and had medium hop presence. The finish heald light bitterness and tea. Minimal lacing. Just ok.

Jun 29, 2008 On tap served in a snifter in PDX. The flavor from initial taste to swallow varied and I would agree with Schultsc comments on taste. "Flavor begins dry with a burst of dark hops flavors and fruit--more stonefruit--along with orange. Malt sweetness follows with some grain flavors. The body is firm but graceful and finishes with some grain flavors and a bit of alcohol warmth." It was a great beer for me on my way home from PDX I stopped by the Brewery on a Saturday and the boys at Ninkasi gave me a pint glass and set me loose towards there taps! Great bunch of guys and an awesome beer. My new favorite!

Jun 26, 2008 22 oz bottle. Clear tea colored with a slight, off-white head. Nose is tangerine and caramel, melon and spicy grass. Almost medium with a fine carb tingle that nicely balances the hyped hops. Taste is orange peel and sugar cookie. Bitter quinine finish. Good Double.
