CaptainCougar (4478), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 10, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy orange copper with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh grapefruity hops and good undertones of sweet pale malt. Body starts fairly full and caramely sweet with a good resiny hoppy balance. A nice imperial IPA. hopdog (4201), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 31, 2008 22oz bottle. Poured a deep and hazy golden color with an averaged sized head. Aromas of pine needles with some citrus and light caramel. Tastes of caramel, citrus, and a little fruity. Lightly bitter and medium sweet. Thinner body. Cool name! goldtwins (3560), Nesconset, New York, USA Apr 4, 2008 Poured a hazed amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma of pine, some citrus, and a fruity caramel malt. The flavor is of earthy caramel malt with a citrus base. Dry finish with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body. JoeMcPhee (3466), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Apr 22, 2008 Thanks to beastiefan2k for sharing this. Deep amber colour, thin white head. Aroma is nicely hoppy. Light grapefruit, white grape and a bit of orange peel. Lean pale malts but with a nice fresh breadiness as well. Flavour is quite a bit more subtle than the aroma would suggest. A light honeyish character on the back. It’s a nice, well-made IIPA.
