22 oz. bottle from Liquid Solutions. Pours hazy amber with a moderate beige head that diminishes to a thin skin and small island of bubbles and spots of lace. Aroma dominated by hops, with some toasty malts noticible as well, evergreen, lemon peel, grapefruit pith and a bit of dust. Surprisingly not so malty for a DIPA, again some toasty malts and just a hint of toffee, with bright hoppiness most pronounced, earthy pine, florals and orange zest lead to a lingering astringent finish. Medium to full body with gently tingly carbonation.

Jul 17, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, orange body encircled with a ring of white bubbles.
Smell: Aroma of citrus and apricots with no more than a light touch of malts.
Taste: Slightly bready maltiness with a bit of caramel sweetness. Taste of grapefruit rinds and apricots. Punchy, medium-high hop bitterness. Touch of alcohol on the drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A passable Double IPA.

Jul 17, 2008 Bomber poured a clear amber with a lasting light amber head. Aromas of carmel, eathiness, grapefruit, light orange and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of carmel, light grapefruit zest, light orange and light pine with a smooth lingering bitter finish.
I’m very disappointed in this beer coming from Oregon. Lots of bitterness but seriously lacking in hop flavor and aroma.

Jul 8, 2008 Amber colored. Aroma is typical grapefruit, citrus, pine, etc. Medium to full body, moderate to high bitterness. Quite drinkable, alcohol hidden well. Cookie cutter but done well.

Jul 7, 2008 22oz bottle-Pours a orangish body with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, and a little malt. Taste of the same with a little bitterness on the back end. Very well balanced without the hops being overbearing. Nice Double.
