3-15-08 bottle thanks to fly (the flyest of all flys)
Clear red in color with nice fluffy head. Sweet doughy smell. No real flavor aside from some watery dough flavors. Not overly thin, average to high carbonation. Not horrible at all!

bottle courtesy of fly. Thanks!
Pours a clear maroon color with a medium sized beige head. Smell is toasty caramel like malt. Taste is nutty and toasty flavored malt with a hint of bitterness. Medium bodied and pretty decent actually for what I expected. Flavor ist still on the thin side, but not bad.

355 ml bottle (’07) from a friend at work who lives in Mexico: Deep amber color with a fading light tan head. Aroma is malty sweet. Nice sweet start and a little fruity with a lighty dry and bitter finish. Medium body is spritzy with lively carbonation.

12 ounce bottle. A favorite at Christmas season. Probably the best commercial mexican lager.

a wonderful seasonal brew that is fairly hard to find, but absolutely one of the best brews from Mexico!
