Pouring from a 2006 bottle, this has a deeb amber body and a white halo in lieu of a head. The aroma is very caramelly with a smattering of candy corn. The two blend in the flavor into something that’s just a bit too sweet for my tastes. The finish is thick and candy sweet.

2006 Bottle. Smells of faint and weak malt with bits of pepper and enchilada. Decent amber with a suitable head. Tastes like 1 part hopped pennies in 9 parts water. Six percent ABV? Seriously? Mineral water has more of a punch than this mess. Watery mouthfeel. Good thing I only bought one in Cozumel.

Its sad that almost all Mexican beers are viennas... they all taste the same!! This ones got a little more bitterness but without the hops. Its got more color, which is probably artificial cause i can barely percive an increase in malts. Its a tad grainy with leather and earthy tones. Finishes like a bitter tea.

Reddish dark maber with a quickly dissipating light moka head. Light caramel aroma. In mouth, a light nutty caramel malt with, lightly oily mouthfeel, rather thin and short in mouth. A summer vienna for the beach. Gracias Raul.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev -- courtesy of GregClow. Pours a clear dark amber with a small diminishing white head. Mild aroma of caramel malt is sweet and grainy. Flavour of sweet malt and grain with a herbal bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not great, but one of the better Mexican beers I’ve had.

Bottle shared with GregClow, Hogtown Harry and Blankboy, courtesy of GregClow. Dark amber, no head. Some Vienna malty notes in mild aroma. Decent thin malty taste. Herbal tinny tea like finish. I’ve certainly had better Viennas.

Bottle shared with blankboy, tupalev & HogTownHarry - my bottle via a trade with Nekronos. Dark amber with a small white head. Sweet malt aroma with a slight herbal edge. Flavour of sweet mild malt off the top, with some herbal bitterness coming though fast, and a short quick finish. Not bad of a Mexican macro.

Bottle (12oz). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev, GregClow’s bottle via Nekronos. Clear deep burnt copper with an average creamy-foamy off-white head. Grainy dusty aroma, slightly vegetal malt, hint of roast, dry herbal hops. Grainy, herbal and lightly spicy taste, bitter finish, sweet malt - ehh. Average body, not much carbonation, a little syrupy. Not horrid.
