| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 2, 2005 Appears a deep transparent amber with a great head retention and a 1 finger off-white head. Tons of lacing is so solid that is covers the entire glass and lasts for almost the entire enjoyment of the beverage.
Smell is of lots of pine and orange with a nice biscuity malt as a backbone.
Taste is of the same wonderfully done aromas, leaving me with a few nice hop burps to remind me that this is a goody.
Mouthfeel is sweet, biscuity, orange/pine resounding the front of the tongue with the piney sap taste lasting after the swallow.
Drinkability on this is great. The bartender was unsure of the exact abv but he said it was between 7.5-10%. In any case, it wasn’t very noticable and this is a winner. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA

The head stayed thick throughout. Smell had casade hops, graitfruit, caramel and citrus. Taste had all of those things plus a bit of a syrup taste. Very smooth for the ABV. There was a bit of pine as well. A solid Double IPA that I would like to have again. Ungstrup (15289), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 18, 2005 An amber beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is very sweet and very hoppy. The flavor is sweet and extremely hoppy as well as grassy - slightly weird flavor - is it the hops used? JFGrind (1353), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA

Very drinkable 2XIPA, cascade citrus nose and flavor I enjoy. A must try if you stop by the brew pub. jeffin7 (610), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 15, 2005 Draught @ Brewery: Smelled floral and hoppy. Really great scent. Poured Amber color with big white lasting head. Good lacing. Tasted of hops...Spicyness of Amarillo likely comes from the Cascade. Also floral. Very hoppy. Stong alcohol content is noticable in the taste. Overall a good, but not steller, IP2A BuckNaked (1204), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 14, 2005 In my opinion, one of the best served at Lupulin Slam 2. Bright amber red with a tiny white head. Hops dominate the aroma with notes of earth, grass, lemon and caramel. It tastes like hops, hops, hops, bitter hops, grass, citrus, marmalade, lemon. I could add more flavors possibly if the waitress hadn’t kept putting dripping beers directly onto my tasting sheet. jeffc666 (1893), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 13, 2005 Clear amber with a minimal white head. Herbal rot aroma with a helping of grapefruit and pineapple. Flavor is tons of hops though onyl medium bitter. Quite fruity but it is missing something that it needs to push it ahead. I could not put my finger on it with the pitiful sample I was given. will need to revisit this one. Dry attenutated finsih.
