Commercial Description:
Weighing in at approximately 10% abv, this beer is almost too smooth for its own good...Plenty of hop in the nose and mouth, but enough malt to make it scarily drinkable.

Draft @ Falling Rock - Clear amber red color. Sweet bubble-gum and citrus hop nose with some moments of cherry. Quite the hop monster, sweet overall with a fresh candy-sugar and starchy, thick mouthfeeel... dulls the tongue with the hops used, but not a bad bitterness either... smooth hop dullness I guess you could say.

This is an excellent imperial IPA. I’ve had it twice now and eildly enjoyed it each time. The fruitiness extracted from the 3C, along with the pine, is great and amazingly refreshing for a high alcohol brew. The balance is there, not leaving you with an overtly hoppy bitterness. I believe the 3 C’s are Cascade, Challenger and Columbia.

I had this on tap at Sippin by the River last week and unfortunately, it was toward the end of the day so my memory is a bit fuzzy. I remember that it was very good and that I really liked it. I don’t recall it being overly hoppy for a double IPA, but again, it was toward the end of the day!

Poured a medium amber with an averaged sized head. Hoppy, piney and spicy aromas and tastes. Sweet balance. I liked this one.

seriously cascadey but still didn´t seem as extreme as some double ipa´s out oregon way. pretty pale, pine and kiwi fruit aroma. some metho is pretty quickly overwhelmed with a lot of grapefruit. big but not that bold

One of the standouts at the HBF. Poured amber, with a huge hop, pine aroma. Tasted very hoppy, with a resin, pine finish. Well balanced and the alcohol was well hidden. Nice super hoppy finish.

A copper colored body with a head that is long-lasting. The hops are piney and strong in the aroma, but fade into the background on the flavor. The malty flavor is very biscuit-like.

Memory of a draft at the Brewpub in the Summer of 2003. One of the "C"s must be Cascade. Big, fresh Cascade bouqet. Goes down like liquid hops. This beer has it going on.
