Mar 5, 2009 Draft at the Brewpub. Pours amber with an off white head. Malty aroma, decent balance of sweetness and toast. The flavor is sweet malty, again with a little toast, as well as earthy and herbal hints. Pretty good.

Feb 21, 2009 Tap at the brewpub. Really very little to this beer. Basic, basic, basic, just sweet malt all day long. Boring to a fault.

Jan 10, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a deep clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of generic sweet malt, maybe some cinnamon? Flavor of sweet malt and sweetness. Do I have to keep repeating myself...Nodding Head beers are TOO sweet and this is no exception. Meh.

Jan 6, 2009 Pretty alright. It’s nice to see a 60 Schilling around. Light and creamy, but with enough flavor to keep me drinking. Very easy to sip, and the flavors are clean.

Dec 8, 2008 Clearwater, light malt aroma. Very clear, filmy head. Lightly smoked cereal, lightly sweet, a little briny. Light bittering.

Nov 29, 2008 (10/19/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Philadelphia. Clear deep amber color. Malty aroma with some earthy notes and light hoppy hints. Sweet malty flavor with some bread and a bit of fruits. Medium-bodied. Not great.

Jun 24, 2008 Draft - part of sampler at brewery. Pours lighter brown with orange highlights. Light malt in the aroma, with some earthy notes. Flavor is again the mild malts, with some caramel sweetness and some earthy/grassy components. Pretty nice. Very drinkable.

Jun 16, 2008 Draft @ NH - Dark orange, creamy off white head. Soft chocolate malt and caramel nose ride light cherry notes throughout. Cherry caramel cream flavors balance on notes of toasted earth. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, malty finish. Decent, but quite dull for this style in my book...
