Not sure i would call this a scottish ale. Carmel in the taste some smoke. Mouthfeel was super thin. like nothing to it" dberger624 (1028), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 5, 2006 On draught at Nodding Head in Philly 2/3/2006: Medium-dark amber body, mostly clear when held to the light, with a small, light beige head that quickly dies. The aroma is faint sweet malt, light berries, with hints of earthy malt. The taste is mild, but does have flavors of light malt, caramel, grains, toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, seems at times like the fermentation was stopped short. However, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this beer in any respect - it achieves what it’s supposed to be. I’d go for another offering if I had to choose though.
