the beer looks like swamp water and has very little head. It has a big aroma of coffee and a little burnt malt aroma. The flavor also has a huge espresso scent and a tiny spice on the finish.

Almost opaque, filmy head. Nice roast chickory aroma - straightforward. Flavor is like sucking on a used coffee filter. No sweetness, lightly tart. A few nutty notes, but mostly coffee. Finishes quickly without coffee cling, which was surprising given the flavor.

Pours a lightly hazy brownish amber with a medium creamy/lacing light tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, on the lighter side but pleasant. Flavor was all coffee, actually reminded me of a chilled coffee. Actually wrote that before I noticed this one is blended with espresso...nice.

Tap at Nodding Head. Hazy copper/brown with a medium head. Good lacing. Tastes like chocolate and espresso, but mild. Good balance of sweet and bitter. My first ’mild ale’; I don’t know if it sticks to the style or not. But it’s a pretty good brew.

so i’ve had close to 900 beers and i’ve never felt more confident in my ability to describe a beer. buy a coffee frappucino from startbucks. drink the whole thing. then let the ice melt and drink it again. that is what this beer tastes like. watered down coffee. nnt what i want in a beer.
