Maltier on the tongue than I expected. Goes down easy. Drinkable, but I wouldn’t be upset if I never had it again. blipp (1738), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 6, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet malt aroma with citric hops, probably Cascade. Flavor has citric/floral hops up front, again I’m guessing Cascade, with a solid amount of caramel malt sweetness as well. Very nice. fredandboboflo (1431), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Tap at the brewpub. Aroma of citrus hops, sweet, bready malt, berries, astringency. Flavor not as astringent as the aroma predicted and more of a baked malt flavor than anything else. Rather sweet. Astringency returns a bit at the finish. Not bad. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Big orange rind aroma with a mix of caramel malt. Orange rind and pith flavor with some pine. Light bodied with a mild-moderate long bitterness. chimplechamp (465), Oslo, Norway

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 10, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark orange with a thick white head. Aroma of nice citrus hops. Flavor of crystal malt and citrus. Like other Nodding Head beers, on the sweet side...but probably the best of the Nodding Head beer I got to try.
