pineypower (855), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA Dec 17, 2007 Tap at Capone’s. Pours out a medium hue gold with a moderate off white fluffy head. Aroma is up front, punch you in the face hops. Citrus, grapefruit and slight pine. Taste is also a hop assault, grapefruit, citrus, slight pine/grassy finish. Slight malt going on in the background, but this one is a hop lovers dream. Very enjoyable. argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA Dec 5, 2006 Clear amber body, small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit/pine, quite pungent. Taste is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, some caramel. Good hop burp. Watery medium body. SDbruboy (1819), San Diego, California, USA Nov 5, 2006 On draft during the O’Briens Wet Hop Festival. Clear, brilliant medium amber with a small off-white head. Brash citrus and piney hop aromas, orange juice fruitiness, with hints of toasty malts residing in the background. Dusty, earthy flavors, a sharp hop character with some pine and bitter herbs, toasty malts along with some pepper and spice. Tingly carbonation compliments the medium body. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA Nov 6, 2005 This is an IPA. I would never have guessed that. Poured dark amber with a creamy white head. Aroma had citrus, graitfruit, caramel and toffee. Taste was really smooth with a good maltiness. Reminds me of Sierra Harvest a little. desurfer (1030), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA Nov 4, 2005 Cask. Deep amber body, no head. Boatloads of green, fresh hops abound in the nose and mouth. No balance here, this is a hop lover’s dream come true. The best part is, th hops aren’t bitter or biting at all, just a wondeful bouquet of flavor. Awesome beer, and my favorite at the Iron Hill Brewer’s Reserve ’05.
