Insipid yellow colour. Slight vegetal nose. (Some celery is standard but this is more of a random vegetable stew). Water, muddled flavour with only the slightest hint of acidity. Very simple flavour profile.

(SCBE2003): Hazy straw body with minimal white head. Aroma is light lemon, some wheat. Taste starts strong sour lemon, but vanishes quickly. Light body.

On tap at the Nodding Head and labeled as the ’Ich Bin Ein Berliner Weisse’. Poured a medium yellow with an averaged sized white head. Both the body and the head had a lime green tint to it. Aromas and tastes of a general herbalness, fresh cut timber, and light wheat. Finishes tart.

Extremely clear and pale yellow. Cider and soured apples, yet also lactic and celery nose, hinting a bit at urine, vinegar and oaky white wine on the way. Incredibly thin bodied, ponctuated the small bubbles bite the tongue intensely. Average balance, rather astringent acidity, but not too sweet at least.

(Draught) Pours clear pale yellow body with a white head. Aroma of floral, light lemon, and apple. Flavor of watered down Sprite and some lemon.

on tap-pours a thin creamy white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet berries/lemon, marshmallows. The woodruff syrup dominates this. Taste is sweet berries/lemon, marshmallow. Now fruit beer. Mild carbonation. 2.8 Without the requisite woodruff syrup, color is pale yellow. Aroma is somewhat musty wheat, lemon. Taste is somewhat musty wheat, tart lemon. Easy drinking summer beer. 3.2

Very, very pale golden beer. No head at all. The aroma is very wheaty and lemony. Softly spicy nose with a bit of citric tartness as well. The flavour is also just a little bit on the sour side. Light lactic tartness with a lot of lemon and wheaty spiciness. A little bit grainy. There is a light sweetness that might come from the syrup (I didn’t see her put it in, but puzzl said she probably did). A fairly full body that is kind of unusual in a berliner weisse. It’s simple but fairly enjoyable.
