On tap at the Nodding Head. How can you go wrong with the name of Monkey Knife Fight? Poured a light straw color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of light grass and ginger. Tastes of grass, stronger ginger, citrus and a honey sweetness. Thinner body. A little to herbal and thin for my tastes.

6 oz draft sample, at the brewpub. Pale urine-yellow, very little nose (some lemongrass, maybe, if you try hard). Creamy mouthfeel, very full, maltier than I expected, slightly spicy. Quaffable, vaguely interesting, but no big deal.

strange honey ginger aroma, slightly medicinal, golden, the lemongrass is very strange in there, gives it a salted lemon rind finish. i´m not convinced that spicy beer is the best accompaniment to spicy food

Tap @ Nodding Head. Poured a clear bright yellow color with a white head. The aroma was a dominantly lemon grass. The flavor was sweet lemon. The lemon ran throughout the length of the flavor. The finish was a large amount of cereal tasting malt. Very light bodied.

Poured a gold color with no head or lace. Sweet malt, and light hop aroma. Light citrus, mildly tart and sweet ginger taste. Rather smooth and malty.

On tap at the brew pub. Pours a translucent golden yellow with a small bubbly white head that left some lacing. Aroma of rice, lemon grass, lots of ginger and some cereal grains. Flavor of ginger, rice with hints of lemon. Some tea characteristics. Might go ok with some Asian dishes. I did not really dig this one as a stand alone beer though. Thin and too much ginger for my taste.
