Sweet tasting citrius. Not really enjoyable for a "Belgian" classified beer, however still pretty enjoyable. Bohica (36), British Columbia, Canada

Lots of coriander/grains of paradise in the aroma. Very yeasty. Very bready character, enhanced by the buckwheat. Can’t quite pin this one down, though JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

Tastes like an oddly grainy-yeasty Belgian with some spice and citrusy sugar. Ok, but I didn’t know what to make of this beer, especially after a spicy sandwich. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 22, 2007 On tap at the brew pub. Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a medium creamy/lacing off white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and spices, other various spcies, citrus and I suppose some of the buckwheat. Flavor of cereal grains, bready, Belgian yeast and spices, hints of lemon and other various spices. Nice session Belgian, lots of flavor and some tartness. beermonk (4), USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Apr 20, 2007 One of the best Buckwheat beers. Made with a belgian yeast. Spicy nose from both the buckwheat & yeast. Medium body. Suprisingly long finish. Zeswaft (1000), Seattle, Washington, USA

Aroma is mute...like a plain blond ale just a beer smell. Flavor is really sweet almost candi sugary. Definitely some estery flavors and a bit of spice. Interesting beer. a lot better tasting than it looks or smells.
