Aroma is tons of fruity esters, plum, raisin, apple, and apricot- sharp sweet caramel and dark crystal malts with a sharp spicy phenolic kick. Flavor has that sharp twang goig on from over the top sweet sharp crystally malts, and overload of fusel and fruity esters- spicy as well- black pepper adn almost a cardamon and licorice hit in the end- earthy and leathery in the middle but overall just too much going on here and it seems jumbled together. Tastes of alcohol, Belgian yeast, and a hint of spices. Medium body. Slightly thin, slick texture. Average carbonation. The falvor is a bit sugary and the Belgian yeast profile is low. There is a bit of overripe fruit in there, though. This is a very timid attempt at a Belgian strong, but not really that bad of beer.
