Oct 4, 2007 250ml bottle. Lacey, effervescent, and rich. Deep dark ruby brown ale. Very well balanced in its use of spice and candi sugar (?). Clove and pine aroma, with a sweet finish. Recommended.

Sep 6, 2007 Bottled. Aroma is chocolaty malt, hints at dark fruit, and candy sugar. Taste is similar, missing quite a bit character wise.

Aug 6, 2007 Bottle. Hazy dark amber colour with a nice head. Very much aroma of malt and spices. Nice smooth flavour of malt, little sourness and little roastedness.

Jul 17, 2007 (Bottled, BBE 2009) Very dark red with a smallish, lasting and tanned head. Neutral aroma of black currants and some raspberry stones. Quite dry and acidic flavor with currants and some blueberry. Pretty foamy-carbonated, almost medium-bodied, but slightly thin palate. Almost like a fruit beer, but not very enjoyable. "The beer that can make you dream" … of better beers, maybe?
