Commercial Description:
Unpasteurized, Unfiltered, Bottle-Refermented Belgian Ale. The Brasserie Des Légendes is housed in a medieval castle in the town of Irchonwelz, in the French-speaking south of Belgium. Its majestic gate stands high to allow the passage of the occasional visiting giant ... as the town is famous for its annual giants parade.

Brown with 1 cm tan head and yeasty chunks abound.like wormy particulate. Aroma of spiced apple with some brandy notes. Very dry appley taste with odd brett flavors and a dry bitter finish. $3/11.2oz

Poured a slightly hazed cherry wood color with a large long lasting beige head. Sweet caramel malt and a touch of spice. The flavor is drier with a moderate spice front and dry chocolate back. Dry finish. Mild warmth with a light-medium body.

Bottle. Hazy orange with next to no head. Aroma of orange peel, preserved fruit and a touch of spice. Flavour had some fruit, caramel and a dry finish. Light but drinkable.

Bottle@Home. Light spicy aroma with all kinds of dark dried fruits. Brown color with orange hue, huge beige head, good lace. Sweet, raisin, caramel, light bitter, jasmin. Thin for 8.5%. Ok but not exceptional.

Ruby brown color with a huge off-white head. Pepper and vanilla cake in the aroma, nothing too distinct. Medium weight body, peppery spicy flavor that lingers, giving way to a sticky sweetness yet eventually dry finish. Moderately heavy alcohol presence. Maybe a little bland for the style, though it could pair well a meal.

Cloudy reddish brown pour with a thin white head. Boring aroma of spices, yeast and malt. The flavor feels a bit more alive than the aroma, spices, malt and yeast were detected. The body is medium with a creamy texture and medium carbonation.
