Draft at Kerstbierfestival 2007. A slightly hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruit as well as light notes of spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and spices as well as light notes of alcohol, that burns the tongue . OK, but a bit simple.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a dense, creamy, off-white head. Intense - and very Belgian - aroma of yeast, fruit and phenols. Quite full-bodied with a soft mouthfeel, plenty of yeast, fruit and phenols, but all in a good way. Dry, lightly bitter finish. An excellent Christmas beer. 180108

From tap, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours murky amber with a light orange head. Aroma is slight fruity and with a mild malty note without showing any sweetness. Slight banana flavoured, sweet and with a mild caramel malt. Finish is caramel malt with little bitterness and some mild spice notes.

Nice red-amber color; big head. The malty aroma has a fruity touch. The flavor is basically caramel, a dark and quite bitter quality. Ordinary.
