BoBoChamp (804), Gent, Belgium Oct 6, 2008 33cl, from De Bierloods Adegem, complex brew, yet easy to drink, not balanced, cloudy, rocky head, nice brew
Bart (1455), Vosselaar, Belgium Apr 5, 2008 Light brown coloured beer with little carbonation and an average but diminishing off-white head. Yeasty sweet malty aroma. Full palate, heavy creamy. FInish is light bitter, yeast (unfinished) roasted malty touch. Medium one. sayravai (3224), Helsinki, Finland Mar 17, 2007 (Bottled) Nice, deep ruby red color (dark amber with yeast) with a medium, foamy head. Sweetish, very toffee-malty aroma. Somewhat metallic, sweetish-caramely, even rye-malty flavor - much like a light doppelbock. Even with yeast, caramel takes over the flavor - but it’s not unpleasant. Medium-bodied, maybe slightly thin for a dubbel, with medium, foamy carbonation. A decent brew, something between a dubbel, doppelbock and Belgian amber. gunnfryd (2840), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 14, 2007 Bottle. Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sugar, caramel, fruit. Flavour is caramel, sugar, fruit. yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 13, 2007 Bottled. (6,5% ABV) Pours a clear, copper, with a beige head. Sweet nose with dark sugars and both fresh and dried fruits. Medium to full mouthfeel with dried fruits and caramel. Nice, yet mediocre. (061124)
