500mL bottle enjoyed on a slow Saturday. Poured a very deep orange color with a lot of carbonation, some floating yeast, and a annoyingly large frothy white head. This actually foamed out of the top of my glass after the pour. I thought it was a defective bottle... Once the foam died down, I was able to enjoy the aroma which consisted of a lot of hops, some citrus, and light malt. It tasted about the same with a lot of hops and some hints of citrus. Finished with a bitter bite and left a lot of yeast at the bottom of my glass. Overall, a solid IPA... definitely had a few issues though...

Dark fuzzy amber and tall, medium beige head that settles. Smells of green hops, lemon, caramel and a bit of estery fruit. Taste replays aromas, with some added mineral, a little spiciness in the hops. Medium dry feel and pretty full and creamy on the palate, quite enjoyable! Thanks again Sammy.

500 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a moderate light amber head that lasted until about mid-glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of sweet malt, pine resin, orange and grapefruit. The flavor is weak malt followed by some moderate pine and grapefruit bitterness. Not as bitter as I was expecting and lighter in body than I was expecting as well. An ok beer, but a bit timid for a DIPA and overpriced at $11.95/bottle.

Light candied fruit and bread aroma. Flavor is lightly bitter hops and lemon peel. Pretty nice.

Bottle:   Dirty caramel, strong carbonation, huge fluffy off-white head, sticky lacing, very healthy carbonation.   Heavy hop nose, slightly sweet, a good floral aspect.   Much the same on the tongue.   Sweeter than most but it does have a good bitterness aspect to it.   Certainly feels like a big IPA, but perhaps not as big or malty as I like for an IIPA.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Good sweet maltiness, with a nice citrusy sweet background.   Did I mention that it is also hoppy?   Good example of the style, but perhaps more of a 1.75 IPA.   Certainly tasty, sweet, malty, hoppy, and clean.

500 ml bottle. Poured a super hazed orange /brown with a large milkshake thick super dense light beige head that leaves large dollops of sticky head all over my Sam snifter. Aroma is loaded with sweet maltiness, caramel and toffee, balanced by juicy sweet citrusy hops with notes of ruby red grapefruit and tangerine along with unbaked brown bread dough. The body is sticky and full with soft to average carbonation and noticeable bitterness on the finish. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with a nice balance being struck from all the malts, caramel..toffee..and bread, and finished with sweet citrus fruits from the hops. Interesting sweetness on the hop profile here where the citrus fruits are coming off more as the meat and less of the rind which is what I am mostly familiar with.

Pours cloudy light brown color with off white head. Strange color for a DIPA. Aroma is mostly caramel malts and bread dough. I’m not getting much in the way of hops in the aroma. Mild hop flavor with some sweet caramel malts, bread and a touch of roastiness. Medium body with mild carbonation. An interesting take on a DIPA.

Bottle from Whole Foods (Bowery/Houston) in NYC. Nice amber body with big head. Nose is very hoppy with smoke notes. Taste quite hoppy, some fruits but with spicier and darker notes. Really well-balanced and experimental, as always.
