Aug 18, 2005 Bottle. Nice raisiny, Christmas spices in the flavour, aswell as some dark chocolate, soft and spicy, Nogno O are fast becoming a favourite of mine, this was very tasty.

Apr 7, 2008 Full roast coffee nose, deep brown, tiny toffee head. Flavour is a big hit of coffee and a dark chocolate influence. Full bodied, balanced, very bitter. Really quite good!

Mar 19, 2007 Poured a clear very dark brown color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma was sweet and malty with a medium amount of roast. Light spiciness and chocolate on the finish. A hint of fruitiness. Sweet roasty malt flavor. Some fruits and light spice. Notes of licorice and ginger with some sweet chocolate. Bitter semi-dry finish. Nice warmth.

Dec 21, 2008 Pours a dark chocolate color with a medium tan/light brown head and good lacing. Aroma of chocolate malt, caramel, molasses, with alcohol evident. Taste of roasted and caramel malt with chest warming alcohol in the finish. Very tasty beer, excellent choice for a cold winter night.

Jan 23, 2008 Updated: Jan 27, 2008Hard to really identify the aroma on this. Flavor is dominated by a sweet character, Also, not real easy to identify the flavor right now. Roasty, maybe some chocolate. Nice, but not their best. But not too over-spiced like most Christmas ales.

Aug 19, 2005 Bottle at RBESG Grand Tasting 05. Hoppy, pond water smell. Brown beer. Hoppy, tart, and whilst flat, it does have a crispness to the flavour too.

Nov 21, 2006 Amber/brown color, small offwhite head. Malty aroma with chocolate and cocoa. Malty chocolate flavor, vanilla notes and a bit roasted. Alcohol is well hidden, quite a mild and pleasant beer.
