Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 5, 2004 A dark brown beer with a small collapsing brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of licorice. The flavor is very sweet with notes of cinnamon, licorice, and milk chocolate. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 18, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a very dark, reddish brown with a small, creamy head. Slightly sweet vanilla aroma - perhaps with a whiff of wood. Rather full-bodied with very sweet roasted malts. Vinous notes of raisins in rum combined with very distinct vanilla notes. Nothing burned or really bitter here. Quite delicious really. 151006 omhper (11027), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 1, 2005 Updated: Apr 27, 2005Bottled. Dark brown with rich head. Strong aroma of cocoa and cinnamon. Sweet, roasty anmd fairly mild with clean mouthfeel and lots and lots of cocoa powder flavour. Herbal spices rather than bitterness in the finish. Another pleasant beer from Nøgne Ø. yespr (8539), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 14, 2007 50 cL bottle. Pours dark bown with a reddish hue. Heavy chocolate and vanilla aroma. Ginger flavoured, overshadows the smooth chocolate and mild vanilla notes. Finish holds a bit of acidity into a nice malty and slight bitterness finish. Too dominant on the ginger spices, yet smooth chocolate flavoured. joergen (6947), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 17, 2005 Bottled at RBESG 2005.
