50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, batch 269. It poured a black body with a dark creamy head that vanished very quickly. It tastes of coffee, toffee, apples and raisins. It expands in your mouth and the aftertaste lasts a long time.

Pours a deep opaque dark brown color with a medium tan creamy head. Nose is pleasant with lots of coffee character, chocolate and black malt. IMouth feel is thin and light. Initial taste creamy coffee ice cream persay. Melts in your mouth coffee. Mildly hopped that balances well. Deep richness of the black malt giving off that mild burnt taste with chocolate malt hindering in. Finishing with the continuing coffee and black malt. Average palate duration. Head retention is good with thick sheets of the lacing that slaps the walls of the glass beautifully. Light to medium body and very easy drinking. Simple but delicious.

Poured a very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is mostly of coffee and some caramel. Taste is also mainly coffee but a bit watery for my expectations.

Pours black with a creamy tan head. Nice aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Good roasted coffee flavor that lingers nicely. A little too weak on the body in my opinion. Really close to being great but not quite there.

Pours a very dark brown with a tall and thick light brown head. Fantastic aroma of coffee and sweet roasted caramel malts. Mouth feel is very smooth and creamy. The initial taste is very sweet, a little bit of nutty chocolate. The finish is a lightly caramelized coffee bean. Very delicious aftertaste to a well balanced beer.

Bottle. Pours very dark black with a medium beige head. Aroma is filled with dark malts--chocolate, coffee, caramel, with some dark fruit and nut smell. Flavor is similar, lots of chocolate, coffee roastiness, some smoke even. Bittersweet finish from malt. Delicious.

Poured from a bottle was a pretty dark brown beer with a good tan head. Nice aromas of sweet chocolate roasty malt. Pretty pleasantly smooth in your mouth. A little carbonation and good chocolate cofee like flavors. Good finish for a porter. Pretty solid beer.

Hadn’t really expected much with this and was really suprised to find out how dry the beer was. There was really very little sweetness left, just a lot of ashy/roasted notes that I didn’t find all that enjoyable. The beer looked great though. A nice thick black liquid with a creamy tan foamy head. Aroma smelled a lot like coffee too, with some dark chocolate notes too. I know I’m unabashed in my love of stouts, especially those on the sweeter side of things. This beer was clearly on the other end of the spectrum. But still, I did enjoy the beer and would get it again.
