Small tan head that mostly diminished, no lacing, opaque, very little carbonation, and a black hue. Nose was malty, caramel, roasty and hoppy. Flavor was malty, roasty, coffee, and some dried fruit. Smooth mouthfeel and medium body. Very quaffable, definitely worthy of a try and I would definitely drink this one again if it were to come my way. Quite tasty indeed and nicely done. Bottled(500ml). -Black coloured, cappucino brown head, chicory chocolate nose. Also, strong chicory and chocolate taste with notes of smoke. Rather bitter finish. Quite one-dimensional porter. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 2, 2006 Black colored, medium sized beige head. Aroma has sweetness, plums, chocolate and some roastiness, mild alcohol also there. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is richer than aroma: chocolate dominates, roastiness, coffee, sweetness and medium alcohol. Aftertaste dries to have bitter and alcoholic touch, hops there with slight chocolate. Good flavored, slightly too thin aromated porter.
