Jan 20, 2009 Pours deep brown with a thin tan head. Nose and flavor of smooth chocolate, roasted malt and coffee. Creamy on the palate.

Apr 5, 2008 bottle from west lakeview......pours dark brown with reddish brown edges. very thin soapy beige head.... aroma of roasted chocolate malt and maybe a little dark fruit but very little.... flavors of smoky chocolate malt with medium carbonation and body....i don’t have a whole lot to say about this one i’m afraid....not a bad porter but far from being a special one.

Jun 3, 2007 Updated: Sep 13, 2007Bottled. Creamy head, clearly nut color. Intense black color; much mushy, compact and dense. Winy and torrefy aroma with notes of must, American grape and braced malt. Much velvety but determined taste and at the same time solid. Aromas of coffee, burned wood and red wine. Extended and much resistant final.

Jun 5, 2006 Dark brown color, light brown head, brown sugar, cherries, cherry filled milk chocolate in the nose. Med body, milk chocolate, nutty, caramel mouth with a bitter finish. Yum.

Feb 22, 2007 Bomber poured black with a thick and creamy tan head. Real good lacing. Aroma of coffee chocolate and roasted malts. The taste ahhhh, full mouth feel with real good roasted coffee and chocolate, toffee and cream. An excellent porter.

Mar 8, 2007 A nice roasty, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit, oak nose. Pour is a very dark brown/black with a pretty good light tan head. Flavors of coffee, roasted malt, and caramel. Much roastier than the olfabrikken porter, but not as complex.

Black body, Lots of casade and sweet dark chocolate. full body, Long finsih.
I re rated this now, when I drink this Porter in Norway.I Thin the Flavor is more caracterritic, and more tasty then ever. A werry nice Porter!!
