Sep 23, 2008 [EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Cask condition porter. Small rocky beige head. Dark mahogany color. Aroma of mild wood, chocolate, coffee, hint of smoke. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation and mild dry quite smooth texture. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Lingering smooth malty finish. Very drinkable.

Feb 1, 2008 This bottled brew from Patrick767 at a rating party poured a head of bubbles that were and left behind a opaque no visible carbonation black colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was brown malt mild hop and dark malt. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of dark malt and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider having again.

Aug 22, 2006 (Bottled, Brewed July 3rd, 2006) Very dark reddish brown color with a medium, foamy, beige head. Strong, bittersweet, licorice-chocolatey aroma with some ashy and alcoholic notes. Dry and ashy, quite malty, coffeeish flavor with licorice hints. Long, bitter and dry-ashy aftertaste. Slicky-oily, slightly rough, medium to full-bodied palate with medium carbonation. A very nice, balanced and enjoyable porter. Quite close to the Koff Porter - yet easier to drink, since it’s not as dry and bitter.

Jan 7, 2007 Pitch black with fine brown head. Aroma and taste are of roasted malts - caramel, chocolate & coffee. Hoppy punches. Filling body with a smooth mouthfeel. Lasting hoppy end! Good porter!

Citric aromatic and roasted notes, some cherries.
Dark Red-brown, Brown foamy lacing head.
Coffee, chocolate,nuts, raisins, brown sugar and citrus - thats a lot of taste.
Brandy aftertaste
Good body, sparkly mouthfeel.
Good powerfull porter.

Apr 8, 2006 Bottle. Regular porter aroma of roast malt. Color is dark brown to pitch black. Tan head with good duration. Taste is roast malt, coffee, chocolate and lots of licorice in the end.
