| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Apr 7, 2008 16.9oz bottle. On point stuff. The aroma is spot on, chocolate and roasted malt scents all the way. Deep opaque black color. The malt character just shines with this beer. Super well-balanced and full bodied porter, while remaining completely drinkable. Chewy and big, one of the best porters out there. patrickfannon (380), Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours rich chicory brown, almost opaque with a thick, frothy amber head. Aroma of chocolate, brown sugar, toffee, barley, roasted malts, and hints of clove. Awesome body; coca-cola complexity and a crisp, yet slowly smooth finish. Hands down, best porter I have ever tasted. Absolutely excellent.
