May 13, 2007 Pretty damn good porter. I was somewhat expecting something more British or European, but this ended up tasting almost like a Black Marlin porter. Delicious, easy to drink and nice label. Thanks Naven! Good call on that one.

Dec 4, 2008 Black pour with a big, dense, tan head. Lots of roasted malt aroma, dates, some semi-sweet chocolate, and a little blackberry. Mixed and dark fruit flavors hit the tongue first followed by a nice balance of roast, coffee, and semi-sweet chocolate. Medium body with gentle yet plentiful carbonation and a slightly aqueous finish.

Feb 20, 2007 Pitch black with a creamy offwhite head. Alot of coffee, malt, caramel, chocolate and liqurice. Intens and strong in caracter with a really complex taste and aroma!

Jun 13, 2007 Bottle. Split with NachlamSie. Pours dense black, with a bit of a ruby tinge around the edges. A small tan head sits atop. The aroma is a huge roasty blast, full of dark chocolate and coffee. Flavor is bitter and dry roast and cocoa. Aroma led me to believe that the mouthfeel would be enormous, but it’s actually pretty average for the style. Very tasty.

Feb 15, 2007 Pours almost black in color with a one finger lasting head that leaves good lacing. Great aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Taste is of delicious coffee and bitter sweet chocolate. This beer could be substituted for your morning cup of Joe. The alcohol is very well hidden. This beer is dangerous.

Apr 8, 2006 Bottle. Regular porter aroma of roast malt. Color is dark brown to pitch black. Tan head with good duration. Taste is roast malt, coffee, chocolate and lots of licorice in the end.

Nov 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours a dark black color with a nice creamy brown head on top. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, dried fruit, smoke, and licorice. Flavor is smooth with dry bitter chocolate, coffee, dark roastiness, and licorice. On the palate this beer seems just a tad bit too thin. Overall a wonderful porter.

May 12, 2007 Bottle from Liquid Solutions;Nose of chocolate, light mocha, and some hops; dark brown with a small tan head and lots of bubbles in the liquid on the sides of the glass; flavor of hop bitterness, coffee, and toastiness; body is light medium with a nice bitter hop finish. Very good hoppy Porter!
