Bottle. Split with NachlamSie. Pours dense black, with a bit of a ruby tinge around the edges. A small tan head sits atop. The aroma is a huge roasty blast, full of dark chocolate and coffee. Flavor is bitter and dry roast and cocoa. Aroma led me to believe that the mouthfeel would be enormous, but it’s actually pretty average for the style. Very tasty.

Pours almost black in color with a one finger lasting head that leaves good lacing. Great aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Taste is of delicious coffee and bitter sweet chocolate. This beer could be substituted for your morning cup of Joe. The alcohol is very well hidden. This beer is dangerous.

Bottle from Liquid Solutions;Nose of chocolate, light mocha, and some hops; dark brown with a small tan head and lots of bubbles in the liquid on the sides of the glass; flavor of hop bitterness, coffee, and toastiness; body is light medium with a nice bitter hop finish. Very good hoppy Porter!

Yay! Rare beer for me! The first of 21.5L of beer that I brought back from Las Vegas in my childrens luggage.

Dumped out a massive brown crown even with a soft pour. Super dark brown brew. Keeps a decent amount hanging around but leaves almost no lacing :( The aroma is pretty obvious early on but does fade: lots of chocolate, quiet coffee, good amount of roast and I can swear that I have found orange hiding far in the background. The taste is more coffee than chocolate when warm but that flips after awhile. Good bitterness with a slight citrus and leafy hop taste. Some nutty taste as well. Not much else there but that is irrelevant cause it’s just so damn drinkable. Smooth and higher than mid bodied; finishes dry and bitter. Pretty good. The down side - I’ve got a quarter of a glass filled with sediment and in this case this beer is much much better clean.

Bottle. Coffee colored pour with a tan head. Malty aroma - roasty, smoky, nuts, light wood. Really well balanced flavor - hops and good roasted malt character. Great palate. Overall, one of the better porters that I’ve had.

0.5 l bottle. Black with tan head. Strong roasted aroma with coffee, bitter chocolade, charcoal and menthol. Strong dry, roasted and bitter flavor wit mentholy hop flavor. Soft and oily palate with nice light carbonation. Dry, bitter, roasted and hoppy finish with menthol and salty licorice. This is more like a good imperial stout.

Bottle, thanks to shigadeyo. This was a huge gusher, but what was left pours opaque blackish brown with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, nuts, vanilla. Medium-light body and moderate carbonation. Tastes of dark chocolate, nuts, vanilla, molasses and coffee. Bittersweet espresso and tobacco finish. Seems more like a dry stout than a porter.
