From a trade with oh6gdx, thanks Patrik.
Bottled(500ml). -Black coloured, cappucino brown head, chicory chocolate nose. Also, strong chicory and chocolate taste with notes of smoke. Rather bitter finish. Quite one-dimensional porter.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a beige head. Aromas are earthy roast malts with citrus. Smoky with some chocolate. Flavours are roast malts with sweet and dark chocolate. Rich and malty. Bitter and dry on the finish. Oily and addictive.

Beautiful beer, very smooth, mild and slick body with chocolate, plum, coffee and nutty notes. Basically, all the good stuff you’d expect from a porter, none of the bad stuff...although the body could’ve been more robust. Clean, smoky, soft, very drinkable. Classic!

(Bottle BB 03/07/10) Licorice, coffee and roasted malty aroma. Black colour (slightly reddish) and brownish, small, very slightly lasting head head with fair lacing. Sediment on the bottom. Roasted malty, coffee, licorice and slightly bitter flavour. Creamy, dry, softly carbonated and medium to full-bodied palate with a hint of alcohol. Very tasty porter! 29/10706

Aroma was malty rich but still not to overly complex. A tad sweet but balanaced with a nice amount of dryness. A real solid porter considering this isnt one of my favorite styles.

Smells like liquid dark chocolate. Really dark color and had thick brown head that withered away into a nice lacy cling. was really smooth to start and the dark chocolate really came out in the finish kind of dry with a slight alcohol burn. Good stuff.

Pitch black with fine brown head. Aroma and taste are of roasted malts - caramel, chocolate & coffee. Hoppy punches. Filling body with a smooth mouthfeel. Lasting hoppy end! Good porter!
