The aroma is definitely yeasty, but there’s a refreshing citrus fruit that blends nicely with this. Honestly, this is a little like a witbier, especially with the marked wheat profile in the malt bill, but it’s got that bite in the back that makes it more like some of the drier Saisons I’ve had. Good beer. espenra (292), Oslo, Norway

It has a sweet and floral aroma that smells of malts and kiwifruits. The flavor is slightly bitter and tastes of wheats, oranges and brown sugar. It has a lingering and bitter aftertaste. A very pleasant spiced aroma with maple, apples, cardamom and licorice. In mouth, a funky spicy malt with orange peels, candy sugars, light cloves. Very refreshing example of the style. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2008 Bottled. Fresh, floral, orange, yeasty, sweet spicy nose... Soft sweet flavor to start - transitions into a yeasty, biscuity, dry finish. Very drinkable and a nice beer...Not a mind shattering complex saison, but I still enjoyed it.
