Appearance: Pours out a clouded, darkened yellow body with a medium-sized, frothy, white head. Smell: Mild, airy malted grains in the nose rounded out with a few fruity scents and some nicely fragrant wafts of fresh spice. Taste: Lightly sweet tastes of light pale malts and delicately tangy malted wheat. An array of subtle flavors graciously pass by the palate: finely-ground pepper, mild cloves, and both lemon and apple peelings. Very appealing! Floral, zesty. lightly citrusy hop character with a smattering of complimentary bitterness. A few sugary honeyed hints dodge in and out and amongst the various flavors. Finishes fairly dry with a lingering mix of citrus, spice, and mild earthiness. Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation. Some slight creaminess to the mouthfeel. Drinkability: A pleasant combination of fine flavors, fluffy (but not too fluffy) mouthfeel, and overall drinkability. Nogne Saison is a pleasant saison -- won’t you give it a chance?

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish orange, with a chunky, great yellowish white head. Aroma is spicy and funky, wheat, yeast, dust, citrus. Flavour is full and refreshing, quite a lot of spices, a good dose of mellow citrus, yeast, hay and other funky notes. Quite sweet. Body is medium to full, carbonation round and smooth. Good with food and as a session ale.

Bottle 50 cl. Moisty milky yellow with a fine white stripe as head. The nose is nice and full of spices, nuts and pineapple. The taste is dominated of wet hay taking from a horse shoe. there is a sweetness that remind me of marzipan and chocolate. There is plenty of yeast notes and some (german?) hops. Sweet and round finish

Transparent gold, layer of white bubbles for a head. Floral nose of barn, lemon, and light sugar. Dry, slightly syrupy flavor of grain, grass, slight must, and some sweeter lemon. I’d prefer a lighter body with more nuance and less sugar.
