Soap in the flavor, and I was drinking from a glass I am certain was clean. Light spice in the flavor as well. Cloudy like a wit, but not enough flavor. It does look nice and has a fair palate however. IrishBoy (2722), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 10, 2008 (bottle at Cellars tasting) Poured a cloudy gold with a decent size white head. Nice aroma of spices with some funkiness in there too. The taste had a really nice interplay between sweet and spice, with the two battling it out in the mid-palate, but a yeasty finish dominates towards the end. A pretty good saison, one of the better ones I’ve tried. michael-pollack (2739), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 9, 2008 The aroma is funky with basement yeast, malt, hops, and fruit. The appearance is hazy gold with a small white head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin but smooth. Overall it’s alright and better than many of the style. ratman197 (3262), Arvada, Colorado, USA
