The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hops, pear and pepper esters, biscuity, pils malt and a hint of mineral water. The taste starts with a nice refreshing yeast and wheat presence supported by a light fruit kicker. Spice and herb quality show on the finish. The mouth feel is a tad soft and watery, needs more carbonation. Not too shabby but needs more depth. I would drink again. Bockyhorsey (2561), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Dec 28, 2007 Bottle. Wet wash rag aroma. But if you smell the empty bottle a decent sweet malt fermented fruit aroma is there along with some sticky sediment on bottle under cap. Flavor was well some spoiled pear fermentation but waterd down. Hazy brown body no head at all flat. Only reason not a drain pour was paid 8 bucks and change had to drink it. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 26, 2007 From a bottle--poured a bright hazy golden orange with a small white wispy head. Nose of yeast, wheat, and bubblegum. Flavor of oranges, sweet tropical fruits and sugary lemons. Mildly biscuity, slightly tart, and fully refreshing. Great beer! | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 26, 2007 Pours a hazy straw body with a modest bubbly head that’s soon reduced to a few islands of large bubbles drifting around the glass. Somewhat funky aroma with tart citrus scents, warm spices, and flowers. The flavor is almost all citric - tart oranges, tangerines, pink grapefruit, some zest - and a mild floral bitterness. Nice refreshing beer.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 24, 2007 Hazy pale body with a tiny off-white head - fading. The nose is floral and herbal with cotton candy, pepper and honey. Moderately sweet and lightly bitter flavor with flowers, cotton candy and cracker. Medium body is very soft with moderate carbonation. jsquire (2123), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 24, 2007 Hazy yellow color with a thin fizzy white head. Light spicey citrus nose. Very light drinking beer. Corriander spice, lemon rind, some clove and pepper. The yeast becomes more prominent in the finish. It is a refreshing beer, and hides the 6.5% is well hidden, but not that complex for a saison.
