I wanted this to have a higher than 4.1 but a rate is what I see it is should be like englishish. Very nice, my sense of smell is about as good as Bert’s new coat so forget the smell. Looking into the glass I’m remembering beautiful women I’ve known. Which is a double edged chuzzwozzer. I am a big fan of this, I’ve been persuaded off upping my rate twice now and for good reasons. It’s the women on my mind. This isn’t the best I’ve ever had at all but I’d certainly rather drink this than a lot of stuff. No park bencher in a million yeas but not quite up there with my best. Nice, hope to hear more from this brewery. My first beer from Norway, would like more please.

Reddish gold, hazy. Aroma has citrus and berries, very fresh. Flavor adds yeast and hops, quite crisp. Feels rather smooth. Turns softer if you add the yeast, not as refreshing then. Very much recommended, as most other brews by Nøgne Ø.

500ml bottle. thanks to BlackForestCO for this great extra. pours hazy very light golden with small white head. nose of citrus, floral, coriander, and wheat. flavor is sweet biscuity, citrus orange, wheat, slightly minty, coriander, floral hops, and a biscuity finish. pretty full mouth feel and thin-med body. a bit fizzy carbonation but pretty smooth and clean finish. an interesting saison from norway but not attenuated enough.

Courtesy of Quake1028. Pours straw to orange with nice white head. The aroma is grainy, mildly soapy, hay, fruity with peaches, apples and sugary too. The taste is fruity with, again, peaches and apples. Then a mild tartness grows into the finish. There’s also a graininess with mild hay and faint funk that gallops the flavor experience into the after taste. Interesting. This would be a nice hot weather beer.

Hazy gold, white creamy head. Aroma held soft lemony vanilla and spiced fruity notes throughout. Citric grassy hop flavors balance on a soft bready tone. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, lightly bitter finish. Well made and tasty. Thanks for sharing, argo0!

Bottle. Ratebeer Christmas in Oshawa, December 2007. Heazy pastel yellow with a small white head. Lightly funky aroma, moderate spice and lemon. (7+) Similar flavour with a moderate but dominant lemon character and lingering spiciness in the finish. (7+) Average palate. An excellent saison. 7+/3/7/3/15-16

Xmas in Oshawa. Thanks! Slightly milky yellow, white head. Nose is yeast, lemon, orange peel, sweet spices. Flavor is yeast, quite bitter fruit, a hint of alcohol Some candy in the finish as well.

(500ml bottle) Small off-white head atop light amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, yeast, some straw, floral/orange. Taste is medium sweet, grassy/straw, floral, light yeast. Fairly bitter. Smooth light-medium body.
