Konen kaldte med det samme at smagen var henad belgien, hvilket måtilskrives gæren. En superdejlig øl, der hurtigt fik ben at gå på. rane (503), Nibe, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 3, 2007 Bottle... Murky, peach-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Breadsy, spicy aroma with diverse esters, phenols, malts and hops that all add up to a giant slice of fruitcake. The flavor is much the same... and balanced well. Lesser notes of pale grains and yeast. Medium-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Thanks to boboski for sharing this bottle with everyone at the tasting! plovmand (1690), Helsinge, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Thin dot lacing is left behind by a mostly diminishing white head. The body is beautiful: opaque, cloudy, apricot juice colors. The aroma is packed with yeast with plenty of appealing berry esters. Mild alcohol is noted. Coriander, earthy hops, herbs, lightly toasty cereal grains and a small amount of wheat. The flavor brings more wheat to the table, along with alot more yeast and fruity notes that convey scents of oranges, lemons and tangerines. Alcohol is less evident. Bitterness is low, sweetness mild. The palate is medium-full bodied, with slight chalkiness and an earthy feel. Very zippy, popping carbonation, moderate peppery spiciness. Good, though not dry enough. Spicy, lengthy finish, lemon and wheat notes lingering. Not bad. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Courtesy boboski. Pours a cloudy, light orange with a tiny little white head. alot of orange citrus, some mild spices, coriander, maybe some clove as well. Nice, big spice character, alot of that orange, a little cinnamon, and a slight bitterness to it that hung around towards the finish. The aftertaste was mildly fruity, with a sweet little bitter taste. pretty good representation of the style. Nicely done.
