Jul 3, 2009 500mL: bottle: apperance is golden brown with small white head, aroma is slightly hoppy with hints of spices and malt, flavor comes in with lots of spices then fades to a bready after taste. This is my first saison and I can say I am impressed.

hazed dark yellow with a thick white head. yeasty lemon dough nose with an estery pepper. very enticing. a nice and tasty saisonl. a multitude of light notes in this make for a very heavy flavor . crisp wheat fklavor, the light yeast tang is just right. a hint of citrus. a repeat purchase is in the future.

Jun 22, 2009 Huge, towering and frothy off-white head over cloudy orange-ochre beer. Flowery nose, with some dough-aroma, and fine garden herbs; delicately spiced and yeasty. Spicy flavour, with a huge yeast imprint and mainly the same flavours as the above - maybe add some chamomille. Sharpish MF, slick, medium bodied. Quite convincing interpretation of the style. Still - if the Sahti is as reliable as the Saison seems, then I don’t like Sahti overmuch. Why search for styles so far from one’s own traditions, I ask?

Jun 19, 2009 Pours a cloudy light orange color with white head. Aroma is spicy with some fruit undertones. Flavor matches the aroma with a nice smooth finish. Pretty good beer.

Jun 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy gold with bubbly white head; light lacing. Aroma of fruit, cloves, and bread. Taste of bread, spices, some sweetness. Really not much going on with this one. A bit light on the palate and some breadiness in the finish.
