hazed dark yellow with a thick white head. yeasty lemon dough nose with an estery pepper. very enticing. a nice and tasty saisonl. a multitude of light notes in this make for a very heavy flavor . crisp wheat fklavor, the light yeast tang is just right. a hint of citrus. a repeat purchase is in the future.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Huge, towering and frothy off-white head over cloudy orange-ochre beer. Flowery nose, with some dough-aroma, and fine garden herbs; delicately spiced and yeasty. Spicy flavour, with a huge yeast imprint and mainly the same flavours as the above - maybe add some chamomille. Sharpish MF, slick, medium bodied. Quite convincing interpretation of the style. Still - if the Sahti is as reliable as the Saison seems, then I don’t like Sahti overmuch. Why search for styles so far from one’s own traditions, I ask? Borup (1359), Albertslund, Denmark
