Commercial Description:

Bottle pours hazy copper. Aroma is fruity, sour, and funky. Flavor is much the same with a puckering finish.

Tried a bottle of this recently. Colour... cloudy amber with no head. Nose... funky, musty and hint of dichlorobenzene! Palate... eeewwww! Too funky! And not in a good way!! A quick shot of polymers, dioxin and PCB’s with a faint hint of lingonberries and brett.

Very hazy, brownish red with a small, partly lasting head. Lots of lingonberry in the nose, with strawberry and rhubarb, plus a touch of acidity. Flavor is merely sourish and dry lingonberry, as the wild yeasts do not show from underneath. No signs of alcohol. Almost medium body, a bit thin considering the ABV. More like lingonberry juice than beer.

Bottle. Pours slight hazy reddish amber coloured with a nice white head. Aromas of berries, soap, flowers, herbs, mint and brett. Great! The flavour is tart and dry with notes of fruity berries. Taste is a little weak. Easy drinkable..

I let this one sit for a while because the early bottle ratings were less than promising. Well, good move me. Opens with a nice carbonation pop. Pours a slighlty murky orangish light brown with a fantastic fine fizzy white head. Aroma is huge brett, but clean, touch of diaper, not as sweet as I was expecting, absolutely lovely cranberrish bright tartness, uh... this is good. Flavor is all of that and more, super crisp and especially clean, wonderfully sour, not over the top sour, the ligonberry is very true, wonderfully balanced, great brett character, the finish is fantastic, super clean, especially delicate. The body is perfect, light with very crisp fine carbonation, not the least bit sticky, not overly dry but still clean, extremely quaffable. I hope the people who rated this early on get to have another taste of this because it is crimnally underrated.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu) Poured red and hazy with medium sized and white head. Aroma contained berries and was quite crisp. Medium bodied and very dry palate with medium carbonation. Flavours were berries, lingonberry, sourness, fruitiness and light bitterness. Aftertaste contained sourness and berries. I was expecting this one to be even more sour but still a pleasant beer.

Bottled (Pikkulintu, batch #337, brewed 300108)
Deep ruby color, small but steady pinky head. Sour fruity aroma of lingonberry. Sourness is more like in this berry, not from bretta. Tart flavor. Lingonberry, some other fruity notes too. This tastes like lingonberry juice. A bit thin mouthfeel. This is that lingonberry lambic which went bad? :)
