Commercial Description:
This Belgian Ale is what you could call a wit with an attitude. We are generous with all our ingredients - including both orange peel and coriander. This does not stop this ale from being a good companion with seafood dishes.

Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F.

11P 20 IBU 4,5% ABV.

Bottle @ SOPP, Helsinki. Wonderful coriander aroma, orange. Hazy orange colour. Taste full, a bit yeasty. Coriander finish.

Golden color, hazy after yeast has been poured, firm small white head. Sour, wheaty, bubblegum aroma - almost lambic-like. Sourish, spicey (coriander) and hoppy. Yeast has familiar Nøgne Ø-character. Interesting wit!

(Bottled) Hazy golden with a smallish head. Slightly sour aroma with lots of ginger, honeyish, pale malt and wheat with coriander spiciness. Wheaty-malty, slightly sour, dryish flavor with orange-peel, a dry, hoppy-bitter finish and medium coriander-spiciness. Medium-bodied, dryish and mildly acidic palate with soft carbonation. A smooth and balanced, pretty dry witbier. Not that complex, but the dry, saisony bitterness is something you don’t see in a witbier every day.

A perfect beer to go with fish. One of the easiest drinkable NØbrews. cant say I get much of the coriander, but it is a lighthearted, not too bitter, well rounded and sweet alternative to the more robust NØ beers.

courtesy of Papsoe - fully cloudy bright dark orange colour with a persistent creamy white head; aroma of cardamom and orange peel; very creamy mouthfeel, some sweetness and a late touch of acidity, residual sugars and a gently spicy finish - character and balance for this good beer

It’s a hazy orange-golden beer with a nice, huge head. The aroma has distinct notes of coriander, and so does the flavour, that has a quite tart grapefruit note, that grows even more tart and ends quite dry. There is an underlying weak sweetness. I think this would have been nice with a less distinct touch of coriander. Thank you Yngwie for this interesting beer. 2247

Bottle @ Københavnske Øldage 2007 in Copenhagen. Cloudy medium orange yellow color with a average frothy good lacing mostly lasting white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, orange, medium coriander, vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

A Sim rate (Ølfestival): Smells savoury like celery salt. Mmm... lemme dip my cheese in this. Citric notes: lime, orange and grapefruit. Tastes very much like lime soda with a nice tangy lemon zest finish. Really nice wit. Very impressed.
