Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 1, 2008 Can. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and elderberries. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to a bitter finish. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 5, 2005 Bottled. Amber colour, small head. Fruity aroma with some metal. Light bodied with clean mouthfeel and vague hint of grassy hops. Sharp bitternss in the finish. A bit thin, especially for an oktoberfest. Papsoe (10459), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 14, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) I know Nokia cell phones, I’ve seen Nokia rubber boots, but until recently I had no knowledge of Nokia beer - sorry for my ignorance. Dark amber, very clear, almost no head. Extremely aromatic nose and the most fantastic aromatic hops in the flavour. Some caramel in there too. Pronounced hoppy finish. The label calls this "Münchener Olut" ("Münchener Beer") - rather a Vienna rather than Oktoberfest, I believe. 140605 oh6gdx (6339), Vaasa, Finland May 5, 2005 Bottled. Amber colour with small beige foamish head. Sweet caramellish malty nose with hints of hops and roast. Sweetish bitter fruitish flavour with hints of berries and caramel. A bit sticky palate afterwards. MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Sep 4, 2008 Can, 4.5%. Dusty malt aroma. Clear amber colour. Dusty malt flavour, quite clean.
